Cabo Mexico

This past week a group of us went to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. We actually went on Casey's cousins honeymoon with them. We stayed in the nicest condos I have ever stayed at. (Lindsey had some connections.) They were called Pueblo Bonita Sunset. This resort was so nice and so big. We had to ride around on golf carts everywhere we went. This is a view from our balcony. We really had a good time. We left all the kids at home. I LOVED the weather. It was so warm, the ocean was warm too. It was so realxing being able to just lay out in the sun by the pool or on the beach with a good book to read. It was a much needed trip, but I was ready to come home. Casey made fruit smoothies every morning. The Pineapple was the best I'd ever had. This was a typical day for all of us. On our way to the pool, passing the cute little flamingos. A beautiful sunset from our back balcony.

Cabo Mexico

The Babes. On our way to Lovers' Beach The Men. Also on their way to Lovers' Beach We decided to rent jet ski's one of the days. After the boys arguing over the price with the Mexicans for an hour we got to go out and cruise around for an hour. It was tonz of fun. I was a little scared, I'm not a fan of swimming out in the middle of the ocean. You never know whats benieth you. Luckily Casey never did knock me off. We went to dinner at this cute little restaraunt out on the marina one of the nights. This was us on Lover's Beach. It was crazy getting out there. I dont think the drivers knew what they were doing. This is a picture of the boat that came in right after us. It had about 7 big mexican men on it. The boat tipped over and half of the men couldnt even swim. All of our husbands went running into the water and dragged thesebig old drunk mexican guys out of the water. Then tried to tip the boat back over for them. It was quite an adventerous day. I was scared to get back on one of those boats after seeing that whole experience. But we had to, to get back to the other side. It ended up being okay.

I Now Pronounce You.....

This last weekend I went to a wedding of Casey's cousin Dane. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Here is a picture of the groom, and his two best men. Stupid me didnt even get a picture of the bride and groom together. I know all you girls looking at this really care about what her dress looked like and her hair etc. but I didnt get a picture, sorry. It was a beautiful day, the wedding and reception were awesome. Another good excuse for me to go back home to Utah and see the fam! Isn't she so dang cute? This is Zoey, Teegin's 2nd cousin. Us at the temple.

Kiddie Orthotox?.....

Who knew they made little orthodic inserts for such small feet? A few weeks ago I noticed Teegs really limping mainly on the left foot. He would grab at it sometimes, and it seemed worse at nights. It was gradually getting worse. I got him into a foot and ankle doctor. They took a look, got a bunch of x-rays, and watched him walk. Come to find out Teegs has inherited Grandpa Joe's extremly flat feet, not a sign of an arch. It makes Teegs feet kinda turn in and throws off the alignment. So they gave us these crazy inserts that he has to wear most of the time. He has done suprisingly well with them in his shoes. I just have to distract him as a put on his shoes and he forgets they are in there. Hope these willl help his little feet out. My little Monster.

Paint Job....

So they decided to paint the house while I was gone in Utah. I hadn't made my final decision before I left, I had it narrowed down to 3 though. So casey calls me and tells me they are painting the house, I immediatly panicked. I did not want him picking the color. I told him to call my sister-in-laws to get their opinions. I would never trust a man with this sort of decision. I got home Saturday afternoon and went straight over to the house. I was thinking about it all week. I actually liked the color okay. Its kinda hard to tell the color over the computar, but its a dark gray, brownish color. SO MANY DECISIONS!!!

WELCOME HOME ELDER SPEIRS

My youngest brother Brandon returned home from his mission in Atlanta, Georgia last Sat. So Teegs and I flew out to Utah to see him. It was so good to see him again, I had to miss the farewell when he left because I was 81/2 months, pregnant so I was glad to be there for his homecoming. Here is part of the fam at the airport. This was the first time Brandon had met Teegin, he wasn't quite sure at first, but eventually warmed up. He looks exactly the same to me. That night we had a bar-b-que at my parents house. This is Teegins's cute little cousins in Utah. Brandon brought them all back a shirt, as you can see they are all wearing there except my little monster. Another picture of the cousins, Brytan, Jake, Ryder, and Zoey. Aren't they cute?! I dont know where Teegs was. Jake is always playing with some sort of ball, he was teaching Teegs how to throw it.
One of the days we went out boating at Utah Lake. Teegin loves to drive the boat. Here he is with grandpa Joe. Or "jo jo" is what Teegs calls him. We definitly miss the Utah weather! Teegs loved to play in the hose and the pool. My parents have a faucet that has warm water for that little pool. What a great idea!!
