2yr and almost 5yr Pictures

  A few weeks ago a friend of mine was in town, and took the boys pics. I think they turned out so dang cute, it was so hard to decide which ones to put on here.  Here are just a few.

    
 Lane is kind of a touch-me-not, and it was hard to get a good one of them together.

2 yr and almost 5yr

Lane turned 2

Lane had a birthday on Saturday. We spent the day up on the houseboat at Trinity Lake.  It was pretty low-key. Just the four of us and Uncle Harry there to sing and watch blowout candles.

Oh Lano, We just love you sooo much. You are just pure sweetness. My biggest fan, and just such a joy.  I always say Lane is my little sweetheart. He LOVES anything soft and cuddley, mainly blankets; lays on them and rubs them on his face. I love how much he loves his mama; will randomly come give me a hug and then go off and play again. He loves his dad, and loves teegs. He usually wakes up before Teegin, and will always go in there and wake him up.
   He has a definite comfort zone, and if you cross the line he will let you know with a loud screech. He just kinda likes to do his thing and is really easy going, but doesn't like to be disturbed while he is in the middle of something.
  He is starting to talk so much these days, and it cracks me up. My favorite is when I get him breakfast or some sort of food and he says "thank you mom" in his cute little voice. Has a definite sweet tooth that I have been trying to put a handle on.
   Favorite toy is a stroller. Really anything that has wheels that he can push around. Also loves dogs, and everytime he sees one yells GOG (dog) at the top of his lungs several times.

Disneyland-

 Last week, Casey, I and the boys met all my family from Utah at Disneyland. We missed Chad, he was stuck in school back in Philly. Teegin was sooo excited to go and hang out with his cousins for a week. Here in this pic is Jake and Zoey.   We were the first ones to the hotel, and couldn't check in till my dad got there which was 2 hrs later.   So we just hung out in the lobby

 Our hotel was soo nice. It was connected to Disneyland, so we didn't have to walk far at all was. It was so convenient for nap time, and especially my sis whose baby is 2months old.  
The first day we spent at then pool. I was shocked at Teegin swimming. He is always so timid of the water, wont put his face in. He was full on jumping and diving in. Casey and Max were throwing him into the air. I think he was wanting to show off for Jake, he LOVES Jake.

 my sister heard of this cute idea of trading pins there. So we ordered some off ebay. The kids thought it was sooo cool. While we were all waiting in line the kids we trade different pins with the employees there. I guess some are worth more then others, but none of us had a clue which ones, the kids just picked the ones the thought were the coolest looking.

 WOW!! Some people are Disney Fanatics!

 One night we went to dinner at Joes' Crab Shack. There was a guy making balloon figures for the kids. He was AMAZING. I couldn't believe the things he made. This is Brytan with a mermaid

 This ride was a crack up. these are the little bugs from A Bugs Life. Bumper cars. We were all just bustn up laughing at the older guys driving theses little cars around that were barley moving.

Teegs got a little worn out from this trip. This is on the airplane ride back home. We had such a good time. I am so glad that we ended up going.  I think we may wait till the kids are older before we go back though.

Pony Express Days Parade

Every year a little town has a parade and then a fair to follow with all sorts of booths; from homemade chili, crafts, activities for the kids. Its always a good time if the weather holds out.

 This year the primary kids got to participate in the parade. Our ward had a few booths with Emergency preparedness tips. I am a primary teacher so i got to join the parade as well.

 I pushed Lane in the stroller. Man it was much more of a walk than I thought. I was definitely a little worn out at the end of the thing.

 Teegs rode his bike and of course had to always be in the front of our group. He thought it was race and kept going way too fast and passing all the floats and cars. We had to explain to him its NOT a race and to ride slower.   He was not excited about that one.

 I was so proud of him though. He rode the entire time with no complaints, it was about a 4 mile walk. He was a champ.

I think if we decide to do this next year, we need to find a trailer to pull us through the parade

Preschool graduation

This is a few weeks late, but...  Teegs recently ended his school year at the CDL preschool. It was a good experience for him and I think he grew a lot. 

 Four kids from our ward were im his class this year. They are all moving onto kidergarten next year, while he will have one more year of preschool. He barely misses the cut off.

 This is the worst picture ever, it was taken through a thick glass window while Teegin was leaping over this bridge.  All the kids got to walk across the bridge, but of course Teegin has to do some karate-kick jump over it

 This has nothing to do with the above pics, but this pics cracks me up.  So we have one of these already opened up HIGH in the cupboard where this little boy cant reach it.  Well this was a brand new, unopened one I had stored in the pantry.  I hadn't heard him for a while, so this is what I found: Lane hiding in Teegins room in the train tent just going to town on this stuff. I don't know how he even got it open.   I didn't knw if I should laugh, or smack him.   Oh man!!!

Then the day previous this is what I found. He had already bathed and got dressed and everything, but I guess he wasn't ready to get out....
Here come the terrible twos.
