GRasShoPper HunNT

Teegin's latest hobby is catching grasshoppers. We have a big vacant lot next to our house that is filled with these hopping little creatures. He is actually pretty good at it. He has 4 in that little cage of his.

He could spend hours out there, but he is always trying to drag me out there to help him. I use to love catching bugs as a kid, but not so much these days.

BROTHERS

Now that Lane is getting older is becoming more aware of his surroundings. Him and Teegs are starting to be little buddies and I LOVE to watch them play together.

The first thing Teegin says when he comes home from school is "Where is Yane (Lane)?" He is usually still sleeping. But in the morning too, they both light up when they see eachother.

Lane follows Teegin around, has to have the same treat or drink as him. Lane will copy Teegs too, if he is dancing, jumping, playing cars in the dirt or sandbox.

I am so glad that they have eachother.

Preschool

Teegin started preschool last week. He goes every morning for 2 1/2 hrs. He is absolutely loving it. The first day, he told me on the way there that I couldn't stay there with him. Then when we got there, he told me twice that I could go home now. So I guess he was ready to go and be away from his mom. There are 4 other kids that go that are in our ward. Its been so nice to have him gone for a few hours doing more than bugging Lane or sitting in front of the tv. It breaks up the day for him. He is enjoying himself so much. Its just so cute to see how excited he gets when he comes home and pulls out all the pics he drew and bracelets or whatever else they made, out of his backpack.

Walking

Lane has been walking for a few weeks now, but I am finally getting around to posting it. He now always has some sorta battle scar on his head. He getting better and faster all the time.

Last HooraH!!!!

This last week, being the last week before school starts, a bunch of us drove up to Sacramento to Sheril's sister's house. She has such a nice backyard with a pool, a lot of sitting area and a big grass area too. We basically did THIS all day. The weather was Beautiful everyday, 90's+. Oh I love the sun!! We bar-b-qued every night, read, just relaxed by the pool. I was thrilled that Bev thinks like me and heats her pool so it wasn't too cold, it was perfect!! Cold water and I don't mix. Lane was so relaxed in this thing he just about fell asleep.

It is always so fun for all the cousins to get together and play and have sleepovers every night.

here is: Savannah, Bailee, Teegs, and Connor. There were 12 kids at this get together. WOW

I think this is becoming a yearly tradition.
