Summer

 A few days here and there we have a day warm enough to bust out the slip n' slide. The boys loved it.

 One day we drove up to the river with some of the cousins. Always a good time there too.

Lano turned 3

 On Monday my baby Lano turned 3 years old. I may be biased, but Lane is the cutest three year old I know. Big brown eyes, blonde curly hair, does it get any cuter.  We spent the day up at Trinity Lake on the house boat.
At three years old:
*Lane Loves sweets, has the biggest sweet tooth. I can get him to do about anything if I bribe him with candy or chocolate milk.*Loves to run, and run.*Is an awesome sleeper, still tkaing a 2hour nap everyday.* Has to sleep with a toy, whatever he is feeling like that day. Even if its a big boat or motorcycle, he has to have some sort of toy in his bed with him. *Did I mention he loves treats? * Is pretty mellow, but is getting a little more fyste in him.* Gets sooo excited about the simplest things. We love you Lano!!!!

Chicago Wedding

 A few weeks ago Casey and I left the kids, yes all three boys and we flew out to Chicago where my older brother Chad got married. I had never been there, but Casey actually served his mission there and was pretty excited to get back. I loved it there. We had sooooo much fun! Did a lot of walking around the city, there is sooo much to see there.   This is a pic of Ali and I the night of the wedding.

 One of the days we took a bus tour on a double-decker bus and drove us around the town, of course it was the hottest of the days that we chosd to do this. But I loved it.    It was soo much fun to get to hang out with all my family, no kids, for 3 days. We could go and do what we wanted when we wanted. I never get to see my family, and havent seen Chad in over a year, so it was so good to able to spend a lot of time with everyone.  I havent laughed that hard in a long time. Brandon can make me laugh harder than anyone I know.

 Giardonos' pizza is to die for. Id heard of it and heard it was good, but untill you try it.   Man it was good!!

 We thought we would take a bus back from this museum to our hotel, man was that a bad idea. There were so many people  crammed on that bus, sweating, and stuck in traffic, I think the bus driver was drunk.   We finally just got off and walked the rest of the way.  It was hilarious.

 All the siblings together at last, its been almost 2 years since we've been all together.

 So the wedding was out on a river boat that floated down the Chicago river, and then out into Lake Michigan.  This is the city at night; beautiful. The wedding was absolutely awesome out on the river. It was perfect weather and a lot of fun

 The cute couple. Chad and Mo. They met in Pennsylvania, they were both going to dental school at Penn State. They both just recently graduated and are moving to Boston to finish up there residency; Chad is going into endodontics(root canals) and Mo into Orthodontics.  They are the cutest couple.  I coudn't have found anyone more perfect for eathother. Aren't they so cute!?

 I thought it was so awesome that a bunch of Chads closest friends flew out there for his wedding.

 Every summer our small little town has a parade and little carnival called Pony Express Days. The parade is always pretty lowkey, but I guess the kids enjoy it. They went home with a whole bag of candy from the floats. We all know Lane LOVED that part

 One of the booths had a REAL gun to shoot. When Teegin saw this his eyes just lit up and we had to stand in line and shoot this gun.

 Teegs has a love for baseball for sure. We had signed him up for a little 8 week camp where they would go and do different drills. The last day they played a real game out on an actual feild. Teegs was in heaven

Enjoying a rainyday. Boys are sooo funny, rain or shine they wnat to be outside in the dirt or mud.

4 months

 Little Brooks is getting bigger all the time. 4months, man its crazy. 
At 4 months this little guy sleeps all night, 9-7ish.  Taking 4 naps a day, eating every 3-3.5 hrs.   Has rolled over from his belly to back a few times, but not consistently.  He is so easy to get to smile, is just such a little sweetheart.

 Memorial Day we decided to take a little hike up through the redwoods. The weather was nice and Casey actually had the day off. The kids had a great time for sure. Teegin kept wanting to go off roading/trailing and we followed him.   So it got a little crazy at times, hinking through some rough terrain.

Lane talked about going on a hike for the next week. He Loved it, I think we may need to do this mor often.

Summers' on its way

 Every Tuesday afternoon we hear some Disney tunes driving through the neighborhood and all the kids run to their piggy banks and then out the door they go.  Its always so cute how excited these kiddos get when they hear that music.  This means summer is on the way.

 A few weeks ago Casey started getting some ideas and a few days later, we had ourselves a firepit. I love how it turned out.The boys LOVE it. Every night they are asking to build a fire and make smores. I'm sure we are going to be sending a lot of nights out here this summer.

 Of course we had to do some hand prints in the cement, Brooks did his feet. Caseys are there next to mine too
