Christmas in Utah

This Christmas was so much fun with Teegs. He knew more what was going on and actually opened his presents himself, and everyone elses. He didnt really care what was inside, it was just fun unwrapping them. This year we had the whole family together, my brother Chad was able to take a break from dental school and fly out. My lil bro moved home from his apt in Provo for a few days. It was just so fun to have all the fam together again. Everytime I get with my bro's I laugh and laugh. We all have so many inside jokes and it is always a blast.

She was babysitting him one day and I came home to find that they had made a little house. Teegs was just eating the candy and frosting, I dont know how much he really contributed

Winter Wonderland

This year we went back to Utah for Christmas. Look at all of this snow. It definitly set the mood for Christmas. Teegs and his cousins had the funnest time sledding. This is the back of my sister's house. Her husband pulling the kids around. I wasnt so sure if Teegs would like it, but he had a big smile on his face the whole time, well until the fell of the sled and he went face first into the snow. Jake, Teegin, and Zoey All this snow made feel so at home. Bringing back childhood memories. We were always out sledding, building snowmen, eating the snow, etc.

I had to skip out on skiing this year with the fam, but we still had a good time.

Casey woke up Christmas morning to go out and snowblow our walks and driveway, he thinks that is the funnest thing,(why cant I get him to mow the lawn then?)

I know it has taken ages for me to post these pics. Any of you who have moved before know how hectic it gets, trying get everything into ites place. I hope none of you think I am showing these to brag or boast about my new house. I just have a lot of friends and family that live else where and having been begging to see pics. No, there are no pictures to go with this post. I hate when people do this, but we are in a little prediciment(spelling??) right now. We have officially moved out of our house because the buyers wanted us out Monday! BUT our house isn't quite finished yet. We packed up all our stuff, loaded up the trailer, and I guess we are moving in with the in-laws for a week or two or three. Crossing my fingers that our house gets finished sooner than later. I am so excited though, and I am loving the way my house has turned out thus far. Now if we can only get Teegin better. He has some crazy virus in his mouth and broke out in cankersores all over the tongue, gums, and his lips. I cant imagine. HOW painful!!!!!! The doc said it lasts 5-7 days, we are now on day 4. I just hope he is all better for Thanksgiving. Anyway, Pictures will be coming soon-of the house.

My little Drag Queen

Well I dont know how I feel about this, actually I do know how I feel about this. I dont think so! We were over at Teegin's cousin Brooklynne and Savannah's house. I was in the kitchen helping with dinner while Teegs was in playing dress up. Okay, it is kinda funny and he would make a cute little girl, but..... He even put on the princess high heels. We definitly need some people popping out some more BOYS around this place!! I dont want this becoming a hobby of his. JK

Cuddle Bug

Just one of those moments that makes me love being a mom. As you can see Teegs does have a sweet side to him. He LOVES this bear and sleeps with him every night!

He is growing up way too fast. He is talking so much now and cracks me up all day.

He has a make believe lion that lives in his room and sneaks around looking for it and then hides in the closet.

An update on the house; Our goal is to be in by Thanksgiving. I haven't posted any pictures lately because, well, we have had some difficulties with the cabinets, and that kinda holds things up, so there hasnt been much to take pictures of. But it is coming together and I'm really excited. I'll post picures soon I promise.

Ruff, Ruff

Here is the cutest little puppy dog ever. Sometimes I wonder if the dressing up part of Halloween for a 2 year old is really for the parents, not the child. All I wanted was a few pictures. It was quite a fight getting it on, but once he saw all his little cousins all dressed up he wanted his on. After a while I think he forgot it was on. I was lucky to even get his nose painted. This was thr first year we went out trick-or-treating. He didn't know what was really going on, but he LOVED getting all the free candy. An attempt to get a picture of all the kiddies. HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!

Pumpkin Carvn'

Last night we decided to carve our pumpkins. We cut the top off of Teegs little pumpkin and let him play in it. He kept sticking his dinosaur and other toys in it. I dont think he enjoyeed the pumpkin carving as much as I thought he would. Here is the final product. Mine is on the left the smiley face. Casey's on the right. We are BIG supporters of this Prop 8, but really I think he is trying to irritate our neighbors who have a "Vote No" sign in their yard.

RANDOM

we watched jake and Lex yesterday for a few hours. Teegs loves following them around and copying what they do. This was them relaxing after a big game of wall-ball we played against my garage. I got my butt kicked by them. Teegs helping dad prepare the dirt for tomorrow, they are pouring the driveway.

The cabinets didnt make it in today, but hopefully tomorrow. This is the kitchen by the way. The inside is all painted. I went kinda boring and jsut did all nuetral throughout the whole house, except Teegs room is a navy blue. I figured I wont get sick of the nuetral and its easier to accesorize with color.

House Update..

Its been a while since I've updated on the house. I will post some pictures of the house soon. I have started the dreadful packing up all our junk. Boxes everywhere. We've got a little less than a month and we should be in, if everything goes to planned. I didn't realize how much we accumulated over the past three years. Cleaning out closets, drawers and cupboards, I have a lot of crap. I have been throwing away more than I thought I would be. I am getting really excited though. I'm about done making color, faucet, door, etc decisions wahoo!!

Teegs had a Birthday Shout Hooray....

Well, I officially have a two year old. Teegs turned two today at 12:12. When Teegin was born, the next day as we were getting ready to leave the hospital the doctor came in for one last check up. Teegin was pretty upset. The doctor told me "You've really got a livewire here." Those of you who know Teegs, well he still is a livewire. He's got a lot of personality is what I call it. Teeg has a very determined mind set and is going to get what he wants. Has a bit of an attitude and definitly tries my patience often. But Teegin also has a sensitve side to him. He loves baby's and to give hugs and kisses. I love this little boy so much!! *He loves motorcylces and always wants to watch "Bubba Stewart" races on youtube. *He loves that dog of his Mogli and has to give him a visit daily *Still sleeps with Binks and Bear *Is really starting to talk a lot *LOVES the dirt and being outside rolling in the dirt *Loves to sit and look through animal books *Loves to play with his cousins I blew up a bunch of ballons wed night so he could wake up to a room of balloons. His favorite Thursday night we had a party for him at our house with a bunch of cousins and some friends. I attempted a firetruck cake. And actually it turned out pretty cute. I dont know how yummy it was though. Make a Wish Had a car pinyata (Dont know how the heck to spell that). The kids had a good time with that and I think were all on a sugar high when they went home.

I have been wanting to get him a little bike for a little while now, but I was waiting for a special occasion. He LOVED it. Wouldn't get off of it. His legs are still too short to pedal, but he sure goes fast Flinstone style. Another of his favorites. Handy Manny. It plays music and he wouldnt stop pushing the button that plays music. Teegs had a great birthday. He is so blessed to have so many great friends and family all around. They were all so generous and made his day. Thank you all so much!! He loved all of his toys so much. I couldn't get him to go to bed last night. This minute he woke up this morning he was riding his trike, playing with all his trucks and cars and airplanes. I think he's all set for Chritmas.

Pickn' Pumpkins

It's always a fun tradition to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a few pumpkins. This was definitly Teegs favorite part. Driving over to the patch on a trailer full of hay pulled by a big tractor. He thought he was so big sitting by himself. we each picked out a pumpkin, this one is Teeg's. We will have to wait to carve them till its closer to Halloween.
