Turtle Bay Museum

 So a few weeks ago Casey decided to take a few days off from work and took the fam up to Trinity Lake where his parents have a houseboat.  The weather was beautiful up there.  One of the days we decided to drive over to redding for the day and we went to this cute place called turtle bay museum.

 It was a cool little place and the kids had a blast.

Trinity lake. I wish i would have got some pictures of the boys fishing and throwing rocks, since thats all they did the whole time, but my phone battery died and I couldnt charge it on the boat. That is what I use as a camera these days.  It was a fun weekend. its always nice to get out of our everyday routine and do something different.

Easter Events

 The boys in their Easter Sunday suits. Yes they are wearing pink. Oh they looked sooo cute. I was a little hesitant putting Lano in pink with his goldy-locks, and I new Teegin wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pink shirt so a pink tie will do. They all looked so handsome.

 Yes, the easter bunny came to our house.

 After church we went over to Grandpa Waynes for our yearly easter egg hunt. He puts on a good hunt. He has the  best yard for it. Teegin found the money egg-$5.  He was pumped.

 Lane just wanted to eat all the treats.

 This was at a different easteregg hunt the community here puts on, not the best, but the kids always have fun.

 We actually dyed these eggs a week ago on conference sunday. Teegs wouldn't get off my back about it, so we just did it. Lane had a good time too.

My biggest one yet

 Yesterday was Brooks 2month checkup. 4 shots was not fun. This boy has got some lungs on him.
At 2 months he weighs:12lb 3oz =58%
                          height:23in = 48%.    No, this doesn't seem out of the ordinary, and not extremely big, he's average for his age.  But for me it was. I am use to my boys being in the5- 10 percentile in weight and height. For a whle Teegin wasn't even on the chart, so to have a baby actually in the 50's, wow.  Not saying hes always going to be big, but we were excited for now.

Rainy days

 It has done nothing here but rain and rain and rain. The kids were done being cooped up inside all day for the past week, so we put on their rain boots and coats and sent them out in the mud. Rainboots are a necessity here. Doesn't every boy LOVE mud?

 They had a blast! Our sandbox was completely flooded.

 Lane is doing much better with the little guy. Instead of totally ignoring him, he'll come give him kisses here and there. Or will come and just give him a little poke.

2months

 2months today, April fools day. Isn't that the sweetest little face?
Still eating every three hours. Eating 1-2 times at night. Is a pretty mellow little guy. Doesn't like to be rocked to sleep, prefers to be lyed down, swaddled of course like a burrito. Wont take a binky yet, but I'm still working on that one. I need it for my sanity. Kind of takes a bottle, but takes a little while to start sucking on it without gagging. His hair has sort of fallen out, only in the front though, cant wait for it to grow back in.
