Stickers!!!

The otherday a packet of stickers came in the mail with some magazine, so I gave them to Teegin to play with. This is what he decided to do with them. Poor Lane

3 Months

3Months already, WOW!!! Lane is such a sweetheart. Growing way too fast. He had his 2 month appt a few weeks ago and heres the stats: weight:12lb 8oz 55% height: 23" 40% We sure love him!!!!!!

Clogged

Now that Teegin is potty training he is intrigued with the flushing part of it. The other day him and his cousin Connor were playing in the toilet, throwing toys in it. He had flushed some down before I caught them. So it was totally clogged, I got out the plunger, put on my rubber gloves and tried to dig them out. No luck there. So we had a plumber come to the rescue. He had to unscrew the toilet and take the whole thing off the floor and lay it down so he could get up in the bottom of it. These toys above are what we dug out. No wonder it was plugged.

Life with 2 kids

Lately I have been feeling, well not very productive I guess. Before Teegin I had a full time job, kept myself busy and occupied. Then I had Teegin and I was home a little more than usual, but was still able to go as I pleased. But then when I had Lane, I have found myself home all the time, with not a whole lot of places to go or wanting to attempt to go.

Feeling like I do nothing all day everyday. Kinda bored I guess.

I'm sure you other moms have felt this way sometime or another.

I know its important to be home with my children and I am grateful that I get to do that. They grow way too fast and I dont want to miss it.

I know one day I will wake up and they will be gone, and I will miss having these little kids around making messes everywhere, waking me up at 3 in morning asking for a drink, or asking to read a book for the 10th time, singing Iron Man over and over, or just making me laugh with their funny personalities and imaginations.

I know one day I will be able to go back to work or school, and do something more for myself, but for now just need to enjoy my kids while I can. Even though somedays I feel I might rip my hair out. (and I only have 2 kids)

Potty Time

Since Teegin is going to be 3 next month, and now having two children in diapers I thought it was time to try the whole potty training thing.

I have been dreading this since the day I found out I was pregnant.

We went to the store and picked out some big boy underwear. Of course we got iron man, spiderman, and thomas the train. My favorites are the boxer briefs. His little butt looks sooo cute in them. He is so proud of himself.

He has been running around in the nude for about 2 weeks. He is now starting to finally go in the toilet. He was ony going out in the grass, #1 and #2. I would find him standing out in the dirt in the nude peeing in the dirt. Whatever works right?

Blessing Day

Today was a big day for Lane. He got blessed today. Teegs was pretty excited that they both got wear their ties to church. My parents drove in from Utah for it. Lane did really well during the prayer and didnt make a peep. An atempt at a family portrait. Teegin always has to be touching Lane.

2 Months

2 months already!!! I was lucky to get a shot of a smile.He is totally starting to chub out. Teegin calls him Chubalubba, and calls himself skinny-mini. We havent got his 2month check up yet so I dont now how much he weighs. He is a pretty mellow little guy; is really starting to smile a lot and be awake more during the day. He has slept through the night the past 3 nights, so hoping that keeps up. We sure love this little guy. Doesnt he look like Casey here??
