Preschool graduation

This is a few weeks late, but...  Teegs recently ended his school year at the CDL preschool. It was a good experience for him and I think he grew a lot. 

 Four kids from our ward were im his class this year. They are all moving onto kidergarten next year, while he will have one more year of preschool. He barely misses the cut off.

 This is the worst picture ever, it was taken through a thick glass window while Teegin was leaping over this bridge.  All the kids got to walk across the bridge, but of course Teegin has to do some karate-kick jump over it

 This has nothing to do with the above pics, but this pics cracks me up.  So we have one of these already opened up HIGH in the cupboard where this little boy cant reach it.  Well this was a brand new, unopened one I had stored in the pantry.  I hadn't heard him for a while, so this is what I found: Lane hiding in Teegins room in the train tent just going to town on this stuff. I don't know how he even got it open.   I didn't knw if I should laugh, or smack him.   Oh man!!!

Then the day previous this is what I found. He had already bathed and got dressed and everything, but I guess he wasn't ready to get out....
Here come the terrible twos.

Easter Weekend

    It all started Friday night. Teegin had been asking me all week to color eggs, and we finally did.

 This is what Lane did while we colored eggs. You can't tell in the picture, but that is a stroller that he pushed around the whole time.

 Saturday morning we went to the community easter egg hunt they put on every year.

 Lane didn't really get the whole concept of putting the candy inside the basket. He just ate it straight off the grass, wrapper and all

 Then on Sunday after church, we went to the annual hunt over at Grandpa Wayne's house.  He puts on a good hunt. He has a huge yard with lots of flower pots and bushes so there are many places to hide those eggs.

Maui Time

 Caseys' family decided to fly all 23 of us out to Maui again. The weather was perfect. We spent most of the days lounging at the pool, and went to the beach a few times. We stayed at the same resort and it was a blast. I took a lot of pics so beware.

 Lano, he wasn't a huge fan of the water, and especially the sand. But he had a good time running from the water and eating plenty of treats.

 Gotta love cold, sticky, red smoothie running down your belly into the diaper.

Teegin did a lot better with the water this year. He has started warming up to it a little bit more, not quite the water dog yet, but he actually got in and swam around by himself this time.

Just Because

       Green chicken noodle soup on St. Patricks Day.  He thought that was the coolest thing ever, and still is always wanting to dye his food colors.

 All the cousins in Nana and Pa's hot tub. The kids hear the word "hot tub" and they all immediately start stripping. It is so fun to live so close to so much family. This is what it looks like every Sunday night here.

Candy Anyone??

This little boy has a major sweet tooth, I am seriously considering getting rid of the candy cupboard and cookie jar. I know its shocking I actually have a cupboard devoted to sweets, I mean I bet most people never heard of such a thing. I grew up in a house with treats all around me, so i guess I was trained that way.

He can hear the cupboard door opened from the other room and he comes running into the kitchen and then tries to climb up the counter.

(I didn't know cellulite could exist on such a small person. )

CoUPoniNG

 So I have been couponing now for about 2-3 months. Its actually pretty fun and addicting. I think why didn't I start doing this 5 years ago.  Here in our ward in Mckinleyville we are lucky to have Joanie Deemer the Krazy Koupon Lady who has really taught a bunch of us how do to it.  I always thought it was a waste of time to clip these coupons to save $1 on a box of cereal.  But actually it is kind of an art, there are some definite tricks to it. I am still learning about it and how it all works, but last night I went out with somw friends and I couldn't beliee what all I go for sooo little mula.
    Here in this picture I spent $4.44.  Krazy. at Rite Aid

Here I spent $45.78.  I got:
*2 Purex laundry detergents, 1 Tide Stain releaser.
*4boxes of tampons, 3 razors,   2 toothbrushes, 2 toothpastes, 2 chapsticks=free,  3 bodywashes
*3 baby washes and lotions, 2 bottles of vitamins,  2 Olay face lotions,  4 bars of dove soap,  2 deoderants=free,  4 boxes specialK protien bars, oh and don't forget the loofa.
Now don't you all just want to start couponing.   Never again will I spend full price on detergent, deoderant, or toothpaste.
